Homemade Gut Health Cocktail

INGREDIENTS:

  • 5oz Ginger Root

  • 2 Lemons

  • 2 tsp Turmeric (you can also do 2oz of turmeric root)

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 8 drops Peppermint Essential Oil (this is not necessary but something I like to add to the cocktail)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Juice and strain ginger root (and turmeric root if using that option) 

    • I use a blender with equal parts root and water, blend, and then strain into a glass measuring cup. 

  • Cut lemons in half and squeeze out juice into measuring up 

  • Mix in the turmeric if using powder and the black pepper

  • Drop peppermint into measuring cup and mix 

  • Pour into a mason jar or container and store in the fridge. 

PRO TIP:

  • Take 1oz shot glass full every morning on an empty stomach (i will drink some water before i take this) 

  • Mixture will settle, make sure to shake well before each time pouring
